This week's Group Therapy guest mixer comes on the high recommendations of our good friend Guy J, who joined us at Alexandra Palace for ABGT050. During his interview with Paavo, Guy discussed the evolution of his record label Lost & Found, which has unearthed a young Dutch talent rapidly reinventing the classic progressive sound, Navar.
Having started producing at the age of 13, Navar first broke on to the scene with a number of tech-tinged deep house tracks on Dutch label Klopfgeist in 2010. As his productions matured, they took on a richer progressive feel catching the ear of Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed and notably Guy J who welcomed him to his Lost & Found imprint this year.
This month also sees the release of his new mini-LP on Lost & Found; a stunning 5 track composition including Balance compilation favourite "Phases Of Grief" and new vocal track "Long Lost Friend" (feat. Nick Beman).
With such a high endorsement from Guy J, we thought it was time to offer this talented young musician a wider platform to showcase his sound and we hope you enjoy his guest mix.
